Worried that tackle football may not be safe for your child?  You’re not alone. Participation in youth football programs has dropped amidst concerns of injury and potential long-term negative cognitive effects.

USA Football, the national governing body for amateur football, has taken notice. The organization intends to introduce an entirely new form of the game called ‘modified tackle’ to give nervous parents an alternative.
